Nipsey Hussle was fatally shot at his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles in 2019. Eric Holder was named as his accused murderer. Eric Holder Jr. was previously convicted of first-degree murder and his sentence hearing has now been postponed.

Fox 11 Los Angeles reports, that Eric Holder, the man convicted of murdering Nipsey Hussle was expected to be sentenced this month, but the hearing has been postponed. Holder will now face the consequences of his actions on November 3rd, according to the outlet. Holder was convicted in July of first-degree murder, as well as voluntary manslaughter for injuring two bystanders in the incident and one count of felon in possession of a firearm.

Holder is facing life in prison. Jurors also decided Holder “personally and intentionally” shot a firearm, inflicting grievous bodily harm on one of the victims. Deputy District Attorney John McKinney described the murder as “cold-blooded” and “calculated,” noting that Holder had “quite a bit of time for premeditation and deliberation” before returning to the parking lot at Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard, where Nip was shot at least ten times.

Holder has been imprisoned since the 2019 murder, and his trial was repeatedly postponed until he was eventually convicted. Holder was supposed to appear in court on January 5, but the day passed without a trial. The high-profile case was supposed to be heard in April 2020, however, it was postponed to early 2021 due to COVID-19.

After refusing to leave his cell, the murder trial was rescheduled for May 2021. Two months later, the trial was postponed until December 2021 due to the retirement of the assigned judge and Holder’s defense attorney, famed O.J. Simpson prosecutor Christopher Darden, resigning after receiving threats to his family.

In connection with the fatal shooting, Holder pled not guilty to one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, two charges of assault with a deadly weapon, and one count of felony possession of a firearm. Let’s see what happens. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
