Nipsey Hussle was tragically gunned down in 2019 near his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles. Eric Holder was identified as his alleged killer. Holder has been waiting for the opportunity to defend himself ever since.

According to the Los Angeles Criminal Court calender, Holder will finally get to stand trial soon. A date of June 2nd is listed for his jury trial. There, the court will finally decide whether he is guilty of the murder of Nipsey Hussle.

The trial has seen multiple delays thus far. There was originally a date of January 5, but that never happened. Holder’s attorney has stated that they want to get started as soon as possible.

The first scheduled date for the murder case was April of 2020. The global COVID-19 pandemic nixed that. In May 2021, Eric Holder refused to leave his cell, so the trial was once again put off. The assigned judge then retired in December, causing even more delays.

Holder has pleaded not guilty to one count of murder and two of attempted murder. Eric will face life in prison if he is found guilty of murdering Nipsey Hussle. Soon, he will finally get to appear before a jury.

There is always the chance for further delays. This entire case has seen more than its fair share. The family and friends of Nipsey Hussle are just ready to finally see justice be served.
