Gap Removes Kanye West From Times Square Advertisement After Partnership Ends

Kanye West established himself as a true genius for many fans when it comes to being a businessman as well as an artist. It is hard to argue with that fact because West has proven many times why he is so successful. 

The ‘Donda’ rapper previously called out GAP for holding a meeting without him. He then accused GAP of copying his designs and took shots at the retail giant for other reasons and then made memes on the situation.

This ultimately led to Kanye West severing ties with Gap, ending their partnership for good. As revealed by a video obtained by TMZ, Gap has already started removing Kanye West from existence after their partnership ended.

The first video shows Gap’s flagship NYC store in July, when things were better with West. Ads for his Gap Yeezy Balenciaga “Dove Hoodie” were all over video billboards.

The “after” footage was shot Wednesday at 1 PM, and all visual evidence of West was scrubbed, more than 12 hours before West announced the end of their partnership.

The Times Square footage makes it clear both sides had walked away from negotiations long before anyone knew it had ended in the first place. We’ll have to see who West will partner up with next.
