Logan Paul first appeared on WWE television as part of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens’ feud ahead of WrestleMania 37. He came back to face The Miz at SummerSlam, and fans were impressed by what he managed to do.

The Maverick certainly had a solid performance at WWE SummerSlam and has not been seen since then. Logan Paul recently asked about how Roman Reigns’ Wiseman is going to handle things, and Triple H extended an offer to him to visit Smackdown.

Logan Paul seemingly ended up accepting his offer as well. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is likely building towards a program between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul.

It appears WWE is building to a Reigns vs. Logan Paul match. They did an angle on Paul’s podcast and this leads to Paul appearing on Smackdown on 9/16 in Anaheim. Unless things have changed and he’s added to the 10/8 show in Philadelphia (and Reigns has never been advertised for that show), his next title defense was to be in Saudi Arabia on 11/5. Unless this was a late addition, this would answer the question as to why Reigns had to win in the company’s eyes at Clash of the Castle

While WWE has tried to keep things under the wraps it looks like this is all building up to the Crown Jewel show. We will have to wait and see how the program will be booked in the coming weeks.
