Ricky Martin faced a lot of negative media attention after getting hit with a sexual assault allegation. He denied the claims and even fired back with a lawsuit against his nephew for the allegation. While that case was dropped, the artist was hit with yet another sexual assault allegation in Puerto Rico.

The Associated Press revealed that the sexual assault complaint was filed at a San Juan, Puerto Rico police precinct. Edward Ramírez, the spokesperson for the police, reported the information to the agency.

The complaint against Martin comes from a mysterious source. It’s a serious complaint against an influential artist, which is why any information about who filed it and other specific details are not public.

The agency revealed that an undisclosable source says Dennis Yadiel Sánchez Martin, the star’s nephew, filed the complaint. Martin’s lawyer, José Andréu-Fuentes, called the allegations baseless and said that they’re “completely untethered from reality.” He gave the statement via People and Deadline

When this man previously made similar allegations, his legal case had to be withdrawn — not least because he himself admitted under oath that Ricky Martin had never assaulted him in any way. Now, after being sued for trying to extort Mr. Martin, he is attempting to spread his lies again. It is beyond time that the media stops giving this deeply troubled individual the oxygen of publicity and allows him to get the help he so clearly needs.

Sánchez had previously tried to get a restraining order against Ricky Martin. However, the case was archived after he stated under oath Ricky Martin had never sexually assaulted him.
