Izzy Drake’s career boosted in the last year, ever since he was discovered looking like Certified Lover Boy-era Drizzy at Club LIV in Miami. Izzy gained Drizzy’s approval last year when he began impersonating the 6 God in Miami clubs. Drizzy even FaceTimed his doppelgänger to congratulate him on the release of his new album ‘Honestly, Nevermind.’ However, it now appears that the Og and copy are at odds.

While they were both in Miami, Fake Drake said that Drake threatened to slap him “for free.” Fake Drake told the We In Miami Podcast that he recently attempted to roll into Drake’s Miami hotel room and that things got a bit uncomfortable. He described how they were not warmly received. He said, “and I pulled up to Drake’s hotel room with my management, let’s just say it wasn’t very inviting.”

When the hosts asked him, “what did they do?” he replied saying, “They tried coming at us.” The host again asked, “they pushed up on you?” Izzy Drake said that he texted Drizzy Drake to inform him of the issue, but the real McCoy threatened him instead.

They just tried coming at us so I ended up texting him, telling him about the fight and he said that he’s gonna pull up and slap me for free.

The comment prompted a snarky response from the podcast’s second guest, M2ThaK, who is set to participate in a celebrity boxing battle against Izzy Drake on October 15 in Atlantic City. M2Thak said, “He said I’m gonna knock you and Drake out at the same time.” To which Izzy replied furiously saying, “I will knock you and Drake out at the same time.”

I was in Drake’s hotel when he was here in Miami, that’s why I called him out to a boxing match. Baka treated me not very nice, Baka is one of Drake’s best friends.

Izzy previously expressed his desire to transition from doppelgänger to celebrity boxer, and he also stated that he’d love nothing more than to step into the ring with Drake himself. So, after whatever happened, do you think it is possible? To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.

Who do you think would win if Drake and Fake Drake square off in a boxing ring? Let us know in the comments!
