Roman Reigns is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and has been unbeatable for the last two years. For a very long time now, fans have been wondering when Roman Reigns and The Rock will battle each other at WrestleMania.

Many believe a match between the two top stars would become one of the greatest matches in the history of WrestleMania. Despite all the hype, the match is still on the top of many fans’ dream match list.

Roman Reigns even called out The Rock during a WWE live event. In fact, The Rock’s WWE return is 100% in the plans. While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Roman Reigns was asked about the status of the match. Reigns stated that he believes there is a much better chance of the match happening now.

“Update is Dwyane’s dropping it within his own project, so it’s gotta be pretty good, it’s gotta be pretty special. I think that just goes to show the clamoring, the buzz for it, the chatter for it, the wishful thinking.”

“So it’s something he definitely played into within Young Rock. As you know with him everything is highly strategic, lotta synergy with everything he does, with the projects that he’s guiding and has in mind.”

“I would say, just based off of that alone, it looks better than the last time we spoke.”

It should to be noted that Ringside News exclusively reported that The Rock is a virtual lock for WrestleMania 39. Now it appears that the match is 100% happening, so fans in California are in for an incredible show. It remains to be seen when the company will book the feud between the two.
