Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is widely regarded as one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history. Tom has been absent from the Buccaneers’ extended training camp for “personal” reasons. The Buccaneers were earlier pushed to replace Tom with Lamar Jackson, but it has recently been stated that Tom will return to the Buccaneers “very shortly.”

While the NFL’s biggest current mystery may never be solved, it appears to be coming to an end. According to ESPN, quarterback Tom Brady will return to the team “very shortly.” Brady had a 10-day in-camp break.

Brady was expected to return after Saturday’s preseason game against the Titans, according to coach Todd Bowles. Bowles hinted last week that he didn’t know when Brady would return, only to clarify the next day that he did. The lack of information surrounding Brady’s unprecedented mid-camp absence has created much speculation as to the real reasons for his absence.

The most absurd theory was that he left camp to appear on The Masked Singer. However, with Brady remaining silent and the Buccaneers adding to the mystery by the way they mishandled the matter, even the most outlandish theories will gain momentum. Brady may never reveal the reason for his absence. However, if he performs like he typically does three weeks from now in Dallas, everyone will definitely stop asking.
