Donald Trump was mentioned in hundreds of hip-hop songs since the 1980s, most of which were positive as they lauded his wealth. Mentions were mostly negative and derogatory once he began running for US President in 2015. Donald recently hired Cardi B’s ‘Billion Dollar Lawyer’ for his Georgia election case.

Donald Trump has recruited a super lawyer with hip-hop ties to defend him in Georgia’s investigation into his effort to overturn the results of the 2020 Presidential Election. According to The New York Times, Trump’s new lawyer, Drew Findling, called the “BillionDollarLawyer,” has previously represented Cardi B, Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, King Von, Boosie Badazz, and Migos.

Trump is currently defending the former president and believes he will win the case for an “erroneous” and “politically driven persecution” investigation. “I am a passionate advocate against injustice and will not deny that; however, where I see a misuse and abuse of power I feel compelled to act,” Findling told Business Insider.

“I may differ politically from many of my clients, but that doesn’t change my commitment to defend against wrongful investigations.”

In her 2018 strip club brawl lawsuit, Cardi B hired Findling as her attorney. In October 2021, she pleaded not guilty to assault charges and faces up to four years in prison if convicted. The Bronx native was offered plea deals on lesser assault charges, but she rejected in order to clean her name fully.

According to court documents, Cardi planned an attack on two Queens strip club bartenders after learning they were romantically involved with Offset. Cardi B is said to be scheduled to appear in Queens Supreme Court on September 12th. Last year, Drew Findling successfully got Takeoff’s rape case dismissed. During the summer of 2020, the rapper was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a party in Los Angeles.

When Guwop was arrested with two firearms in September 2013, Findling played a part in getting him a 39-month sentence. He was eventually released sooner than expected in May 2016.

Returning to Donald Trump, he is the subject of several financial investigations. The FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, earlier this week. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
