Leonard Fournette is ticked off at all the rumors surrounding his weight gain. The Tampa Bay star was subject to a lot of rumors, saying that he showed up for the team’s minicamp with a weight of 260 pounds. However, he says that it’s just another lie circulating on social media.

Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times apparently started the rumor. Stroud took to the Sports Day Tampa Bay podcast to reveal that the team didn’t appreciate Fournette gaining all that weight.

Coaches were not happy, and that’s an understatement, when [Fournette] didn’t participate in the OTAs, but then he shows up at the mandatory minicamp weighing damn near 260 [pounds]. And that’s not a good sign for a guy that you’ve just spent a three-year contract on.

Fournette took to Twitter in order to reveal that his weight gain has been grossly exaggerated. The NFL star revealed his true weight, which is 245 pounds, and said that people just say anything while commenting on someone. However, his tweet has since been deleted.

The Tampa Bay running back is currently under a contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that’s worth $21 million. Fournette also retweeted a video of himself performing a lift of 325 pounds, showing off his level of maintained fitness.
