NBA YoungBoy is one of the most enigmatic figures in rap and hip-hop. The star has gone through an extremely controversial career so far. Even though his albums get him to the top spot on Billboard Top 200 without any features, he still has to deal with stressful legal issues and possible jail time.

YoungBoy also recently expressed that he would ‘very soon’ either end up in jail or the grave. After reports of him retiring from music after he releases his next album started circulating, it did make sense. However, YoungBoy took to social media to set the record straight.

The rapper took to Twitter in order to let his fans know that he has no plans of retirement any time soon. He said that nobody should do a fake promo on him, and denied ever saying that he is going to retire. (Alprazolam)

Don’t do fake promo on me I never said that. After august I’m dropping again

DJ Akademiks popularized YoungBoy’s retirement rumor in a major way when he posted the screenshot of a conversation purportedly involving NBA YoungBoy. The star released The Last Slimeto back in April, which is his last album with Atlantic Records. He refused a $25 million deal to re-sign with them, which definitely means he has plans of his own in the future.
