Nicki Minaj is one of the most established female rappers in the hip-hop world. It took a long time, but she finally became the huge star that she is today. Minaj loves working with up-and-coming stars as well, as she always thinks about the future of the industry.
The legendary rapper also loves discussing different topics, and is never afraid to share her opinion on things that matter to her. She has been known to mess with her fans from time to time as well.
Nicki Minaj recently went on Instagram Live after her Wireless Festival performance on Sunday. After she got a lot of responses from fans, Minaj addressed whether she was pregnant or not.
“Am I pregnant?”
“Oh, I did mean to tweet this: ‘I’m not fat, y’all, I’m pregnant.”
Fans lost their minds when she said this. However, later on in the session, Minaj backtracked and corrected herself. “Oh wait,” she began. “Did I say it wrong? I’m sorry, I think I said it wrong. I meant to say, ‘I’m not pregnant, I’m fat.'”
Clearly, the rapper decided to shut down the pregnancy rumors and had fun at fans’ expense. This was indicated by her laughing, but she did not really give a straight answer either.
