Deshaun Watson has been slammed with a bevy of allegations of sexual misconduct. The Cleveland Browns quarterback was facing 24 different lawsuits related to his alleged behavior. Watson has now reached settlements in all but four of those suits.

Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today reports that the settlements will end nearly fifteen months of litigation. Attorney Tony Buzbee was representing those plaintiffs. He made a statement announcing the deals.

Today I announce that all cases against Deshaun Watson, with the exception of four, have settled. We are working through the paperwork related to those settlements. Once we have done so, those particular cases will be dismissed. The terms and amounts of the settlements are confidential. We won’t comment further on the settlements or those cases.”

Deshaun Watson recently signed a new $230 million deal to become the Browns QB. The NFL has been investigating Watson for possible violations of the league’s personal conduct policy. There is no word on whether the settlements will affect any possible disciplinary action.

Watson has denied all of the allegations. Deshaun was never arrested or charged with any crimes. Two grand juries declined to indict him based on a lack of hard evidence.

It remains to be seen whether the NFL will suspend Deshaun Watson. For now, most of his legal battles are over. It likely cost him a pretty penny, but he won’t have to be exposed in court. We will have to wait and see if Watson settles the remaining four lawsuits.
