Halsey fans had to go home drenched and disappointed last night. The DC metro area was excited to see the “Bad at Love” star perform at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Instead, a massive storm flooded the venue, causing the entire night to be ruined.

TMZ reports that there was some rain in the forecast. Halsey and her crew still wanted to squeeze the performance in. Unfortunately, mother nature did not cooperate.

Video from the scene shows a torrential downpour. The seating area was met with a rush of running water. The show was initially delayed for a couple of hours.

Hardcore Halsey fans tried to stick it out. Ultimately the rain and flooding became too much. The show was canceled a couple of hours after the rain started.
