Suge Knight’s history with Vanilla Ice is well documented. The two had a major run-in back in the 90s after Suge claimed he owned the rights to Ice’s hit, “Ice, Ice Baby.” Even decades later, Vanilla Ice is still fighting back against Suge’s negative talk.

There is a famous story that Suge Knight dangled Vanilla Ice over a balcony while seeking royalty payments for the hit song. Ice himself has recounted it frequently over the years. Recently, one of Knight’s Death Row associates brought the drama up once again.

Speaking on “The Art of Dialogue,” Mario ‘Chocolate’ Johnson talked about his experience ghostwriting the song. Johnson claimed that not only did he write Vanilla Ice’s biggest hit, but he also penned most of the album. Vanilla Ice didn’t contribute much at all.

Vanilla Ice immediately clapped back after seeing the interview. No longer afraid of the long-incarcerated Suge Knight, he let his feelings be known. Ice said Suge is ‘garbage.’

“Suge Knight garbage. Now put your fanny pack on and dancin shoes and let’s kick it.

Suge Knight is currently serving a 28-year involuntary manslaughter sentence. Vanilla Ice isn’t too worried about the former Death Row boss coming after him. For now, he’s ready and willing to speak his mind.
