Batista Accused Of Eavesdropping On Melina’s Conversations While They Were Dating

Batista has worked hard to establish himself as one of the greatest Superstars in WWE’s history, but there were some toxic years. The Animal has seen great success in the company, becoming a multi-time World Champion prior to taking on Hollywood. He has also been accused of eavesdropping on a WWE Diva in the past and that story is rearing its ugly head again.

During the mid-2000s, Batista was in a relationship with Melina. Fans at that time are more than aware of how tumultuous their relationship had become. In fact, both of them were confronted about it backstage in WWE.

While speaking to WSI’s James Romero, former WWE star Shelly Martinez recalled how she caught Batista eavesdropping on her conversation with Melina, when the latter was venting about her relationship with Batista.

“She [Melina] was venting to me one day after a show. And then I opened the door and he [Batista] was like listening on us. I was like, ‘Ew.’ So that didn’t help his situation on how I viewed him. I was real short with him after that because that’s my homegirl.

Then he started getting annoyed, ‘Oh, it’s like you and Melina have the same mind.’ It’s like, ‘No dude, you’re a dick to my girlfriend. Not cool. I’m going to have her back.”

Batista and Melina’s real-life issues led to Melina getting released by WWE after they had a heated altercation. Batista is also likely to get his WWE Hall Of Fame induction next year. The Animal will forever be remembered for all of his accomplishments in the company and that’s what matters now.
