Young Thug’s YSL collective was the target of a recent mass arrest. The group had several members arrested for violations of the RICO Act, which is meant to curb organized crime. As far as the court is concerned, YSL is nothing more than a street gang.

Thugger is accused of participation in criminal gang activity. Even after the arrest of the bulk of the YSL crew, Young Thug faced additional charges after his home was raided. The prosecution believes they have a very strong case against YSL.

RapTV has been following the court proceedings. Today, Gunna was denied bond and will be forced to stay in jail until some time in 2023. It was also reported that the court is officially considering YSL a gang.

Prosecutors have noted that Gunna is a “documented” gang member who directs YSL members to commit acts of violence. The judge is concerned that the group will tamper with witnesses before their trials. Other than YSL being filled with notable rap stars, the court is treating it like any other organized crime prosecution.

YSL looks like they are in some very deep trouble. Between the evidence found during the raid of Young Thug’s home and the prosecution’s hard line against Gunna, it sounds like they are confident in their case. Time will tell if YSL can come up with some sort of legal strategy to soften the blow.
