Gunna surrendered to police recently after a major investigation of YSL members under the RICO Act brought Young Thug’s group into the legal spotlight. Several other members have already been arrested. In today’s court proceedings, one of the key members of YSL found out that he will have to stay behind bars for a long time.

The authorities investigating the case are now Pushin’ P. As in prosecution. Police have arrested several members of Young Thug’s YSL group on RICO charges. There are some very serious charges for all of the members, but the court seems especially interested in bringing the hammer down on Gunna.

RapTV reported that Gunna was denied bond in court today. A trial date has now been set for January 9, 2023. That means that Gunna will be spending quite a while in jail, whether he is guilty or not.

The prosecution is treating YSL as a gang in the matter. Gunna faces charges of conspiracy to violate RICO. The law was created to help curb organized crime.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis recently said that gang-related activity makes up about 80% of all the violent crimes in the Atlanta area. The huge bust against YSL was meant to try and put a stop to it. Gunna will now have plenty of time to think about his next move as he will not be released any time soon.
