Johnny Depp is receiving more support than Amber Heard in this challenging lawsuit. Many celebrities have come forward to express their support for Depp. Kate Moss, Johnny’s ex-girlfriend, will now testify in the Amber Heard Trial.

According to the New York Post, Johnny Depp’s ex-girlfriend Kate Moss will finally tell her side of the story this week when she will testify in his $100 million defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. The model is expected to appear in court via video link on Wednesday in Fairfax, Virginia. Depp’s lawyers had fueled speculation that Moss taking the stand may work in their favor.

The lead counsel for the Black Mass star fist-bumped the other attorney after Heard mentioned Moss during testimony in early May. It is said that Depp will now get the opportunity to dispel a rumor that he shoved the U.K. native down a flight of stairs while they were together in the 1990s. Heard mentioned Moss when ruminating on an alleged altercation she had with Depp in March 2015, during which she thought he might push her sister Whitney down a staircase.

“[Whitney] threw herself in the line of fire. She was trying to get Johnny to stop. Her back was to the staircase, and Johnny swings at her. I don’t hesitate and wait — I instantly think of Kate Moss and stairs.”

“He pushed Kate Moss down the stairs, I heard this from two people, and this was fresh in my mind. I reacted in defense of my sister. I had for years been Johnny’s punch bag but for years I never hit him. It was the first time after all these years that I struck him back.”

Moss’ future testimony is expected to be a big win for Depp’s side, especially given that she has only spoken favorably of him since the breakup.

“There’s nobody that’s ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit. I believed what he said. I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!”

Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote in the Washington Post in 2018 alleging being a victim of domestic abuse. The Rum Diary actress maintained her allegations and filed a countersuit for $100 million. Let us see who wins this lawsuit. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
