Cardi B officially joined Playboy family on December 2nd, a dream fulfilled by the popular gentleman’s magazine. Playboy announced her appointment as the magazine’s first-ever Creative Director in Residence on Instagram. The WAP rapper revealed her first Playboy project on Twitter as a Christmas gift for fans.

Cardi B raps on her Invasion of Privacy track “I Do” featuring SZA, “Cardi rockin’ it, go get stock in it.” The Bronx-bred rapper appears to have proven her argument, according to financial data from PLBY Group. Cardi B was named the brand’s first Creative Director In Residence by Playboy magazine’s parent business last year.

Cardi was also named the Centerfold platform’s Founding Creative Director and a founding member. PLBY Group has announced its revenue for the first quarter of 2022, which concluded on March 31. Cardi B appears to have had a key impact in the company’s sales increasing to $69.4 million year-over-year.

Direct-to-consumer revenue increased 125 percent to $49.6 million year-over-year. In Q1, the brand’s revenue increased by 63% year-over-year. Cardi B posted a video on social media over the weekend promoting a Playboy apparel collection.

In just two days, her Twitter tweet had over 1.5 million views and 112,000 likes. Since Saturday, the TikTok version has received 1.8 million views and 533,000 likes. Check out posts below.
