Reelz has been around for over two decades. For those not in the know, Reelz is an American digital cable and satellite television network owned by Hubbard Broadcasting. The network has been working on several pro wrestling documentaries of late.

According to Fightful Select, Reelz officials have more than just one wrestling documentary in store for viewers this summer and the network is in touch with several wrestling media members to this effect. They will produce new documentaries based on some of the biggest names in pro wrestling history.

Reelz has been in the wrestling business of late, producing “Autopsy” documentaries for air on their networks. We’re told that’s far from the only one, as they have several pro wrestling documentaries scheduled for the Summer. The network has been interviewing wrestling media members for the series.

Unlike the massive A&E-WWE deal, these do not have WWE participation, and aren’t related to that deal. We were able to confirm that Roddy Piper, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chyna were among the topics that they were targeting.
