Lionel Messi is undoubtedly the greatest soccer player of all time. Lionel Messi has previously won the Ballon d’Or six times and this year as we reported, he bagged his seventh. He is currently signed to PSG as their forward alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappé. That might change next year.

Messi is expected to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in 2023. According to Front Office Sports, the 34-year-old seven-time Ballon d’Or winner will own a 35 percent share in the MLS franchise.

Messi, who is presently with PSG, will join Inter Miami after his contract with one of France’s best clubs expires. On Monday, Beckham shared photos with various members of PSG’s squad, including Messi, in which he appeared to be friendly with the Argentinian.

Messi left Barcelona due to financial constraints that prohibited the club from granting him a reasonable contract. Lionel Messi may have left the Blaugrana, but his chapter with the club has always appeared to be resuming at some point in the future. The attacker didn’t want to leave the club in the first place, and Barcelona also wanted to keep him but couldn’t owing to budgetary restraints.

Since 2007, Messi has been regarded as the GOAT. Messi pondered the concept of being the best football player ever when accepting his 7th Ballon d’Or for his performance this season. He didn’t necessarily agree with the concept, however, and stated that it was the desire to improve that kept him going.
