Chris Paul’s poor play contributed in a big way to the Phoenix Suns’ early exit from the NBA Playoffs. The Suns were the number one seed in the west and seemed destined for a championship run. Paul played so badly that many immediately began to assume he might call it a career.

NBA fans were astonished at how easily the Dallas Mavericks destroyed Phoenix in game seven of their playoff battle. Fans dragged the team relentlessly. Even other NBA players threw shade at Chris Paul and the Suns.

Patrick Beverley took to Twitter during the game to share his thoughts. Pat Bev threw out the idea that one of the Phoenix players would end up faking an injury. Beverley seems to think that the team is soft.

“Yal stay locked in, let’s see who pulls the fake hurt move down a dub”

Chris Paul was seen limping out of the arena after the game. This led fans to further make fun of CP3. It may have validated Patrick Beverly’s speculation.

Patrick Beverley’s Minnesota Timberwolves were also sent packing early. Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies four games to two. Pat Bev is doing plenty of trash talk, but he also finds himself in the same position as Chris Paul: Sitting at home waiting for next year.
