The leaked Supreme Court draft decision that would overturn Roe vs. Wade has sparked protest in several places around the United States. Pro-choice activists have camped out in front of the nation’s highest court. Now, they are taking the fight directly to the home of one anti-abortion justice.

A group of demonstrators traveled to Falls Church, Virginia to make their point. Dressed as characters from “The Handmaid’s Tale,” they descended upon the home of Justice Amy Coney Barrett. The goal was to make their feelings known about the potential overturning of the landmark abortion protections offered by Roe.

One protester pointed out that Justice Barrett was allowing her religion to cloud her feelings on abortion. Amy Coney Barrett gave birth to five children from other women. The demonstrator’s sign spelled out their thoughts.

“Not everybody wants to have 5 kids, or4 kids, or 1 kid.”

The Supreme Court has not officially announced that it will overturn Roe vs. Wade. A subsequent draft that has circulated among those in the know indicates that the leaked draft will look a lot like the final decision. Many are not holding out hope for the court to change their minds.

An official ruling will be announced next month. Several states already have laws ready to go that would severely restrict access to abortion. Time will tell what the ultimate snowball effect will be if Roe vs. Wade is overturned.
