Billie Eilish Proudly Affirms Queer Identity

Billie Eilish is definitely one of the best singers in the whole world, as Eilish has worked hard to become as recognizable as she is now. While she might just be 21 years old, there is no denying just how much fans love her but now she has finally unveiled that she is queer.

Billie Eilish recently found herself unwittingly at the center of a coming-out narrative following a revealing interview, a revelation she didn’t anticipate. The acclaimed “bad guy” singer made a revelation to Variety on the red carpet for the Variety Hitmakers Brunch Saturday.

Reflecting on her November Variety profile where she openly shared, “I’m physically attracted to [women]. But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence,” Eilish seemed genuinely taken aback that the public had not caught on earlier that she was queer, as it was her coming out.

“I didn’t [know I was coming out], but I kinda thought, wasn’t it obvious? I didn’t realize people didn’t know.

I saw the article, and I was like, ‘Oh, I guess I came out today!’” she said with a laugh. “I just don’t really believe in [coming out]. I’m just like, why can’t we just exist? I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I just didn’t talk about it.”

“It’s exciting to me because I guess people didn’t know, so it’s cool that they know,” she added while also confirming, “I am for the girls.”

Eilish has dated a few different people over the years, including rapper Brandon Adams, with whom she broke up long ago. She also got real about her identities and relationships recently as well. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Billie Eilish as fans are happy about her new revelation.
