Elon Musk Took His Mom As Met Gala Date

Elon Musk made his first public appearance since his shocking deal to purchase Twitter. The Tesla billionaire appeared at the 2022 Met Gala. Elon’s choice of date surprised a lot of people.

Musk showed up with a supermodel as his date. That supermodel is Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk. Maye has had a 50-plus-year modeling career dating back to the 1960s.

Elon wore a classic black-and-white tuxedo. Maye dressed conservatively as well. The 74-year-old showed up in a classy maroon Dio gown with several strands of pearls draped around her neck. Page Six shared several photos of the Musks from the event.

After Elon Musk broke things off with Grimes, he was spotted traveling with a new mystery woman. It turned out to be actress Natasha Bassett. Some were surprised when Elon showed up with mom instead.

Elon Musk prefers to keep his relationships private. It could be that he was protecting Bassett by not placing her in the public eye as part of a high-profile relationship. It might also mean that Elon simply wanted to enjoy a night out with his mother.

Elon posed for several goofy pictures and appeared to have a great time. Now that the Met Gala has wrapped up, Musk will get back to work on Twitter. There are a lot of nervous employees working at the social media giant, but for one night, Elon decided to let his hair down and have a good time away from the board room.
