Elon Musk and Grimes’ unlikely marriage stunned the world in May 2018. The two have been in an on and off relationship. No one in the world knew that they secretly welcomed a second child.
In 2021, the SpaceX founder confirmed that he and the Canadian singer are “semi-separated,” but they are still on good terms and will co-parent their 1-year-old son, X A-Xii Musk. Grimes recently revealed that she and Elon secretly welcomed a baby girl. She also updated that they are no longer together.
The couple’s baby girl, joins older brother X in the SpaceX founder’s growing family. Musk has a total of 8 kids. As you’d expect, the name is totally unique and strang, Exa Dark Siderael.
Apparently, they are calling the baby “Y” as short. This seems strange but fitting given that her older brother is known as X. Since his birth, baby X has gotten the spotlight quite a few times by being the highlight in dad’s viral zoom presentation back in November 2021.
According to Vanity Fair, Grimes and Musk named their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl because Exa comes from the computing term exaFlops. The middle name, Dark, refers to the beautiful unknown mystery of dark matter. Very futuristic and techy indeed, just like Dad Musk’s business ventures.
