Elon Musk is the richest man on the planet and now he is owner of one of the chief means of communication for the human race. Yes, the man who could become a real life Batman villain now owns Twitter.

Twitter met with Musk to finalize the massive $43 billion deal. Reuters said that Musk was set to close the deal and add this incredible asset to his collection. The Tesla owner was previously stopped by a “poison pill” situation, but he found a workaround.

Musk did not budge on his $54.20-per-share price. This will certainly send shockwaves through the entire world depending on the changes he implements..

Elon Musk wants to get rid of bots and encourage free speech. Twitter has a lot of issues, so we’ll just have to see what Elon has in mind to alter the current toxicity of the platform.

Those lucky people who own Dogecoin might be in luck. Elon Musk considered accepting the cryptocurrency as a way to pay for Twitter’s premium service. We’ll have to see how this benefits or cripples things from this point on, because this kind of deal will certainly see massive ramifications.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
