Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal started their rivalry inside the UFC Octagon. Things got a lot more real when the two fighters got into a fight at a Miami nightclub just weeks after their bout at UFC 272. Covington has claimed that he suffered from serious injuries in the attack.

After a judge ordered the two to stay away from each other, things have been calm. The April 28 order states that Masvidal has to keep a 25-foot distance from Colby Covington at all times. Given the nature of the assault, Colby was fine with that.

New photos taken after the assault have now been released by TMZ Sports. They show Covington with a broken tooth and a few bruises on his face. Covington has also claimed that he suffered brain damage in the fight.

The photos were included in documents filed by Jorge Masvidal’s attorney, Bradford Cohen. Cohen made it a point to note that there were no other apparent injuries besides a chip in his fake tooth. Cohen has asked the judge to order Colby Covington to undergo independent medical exams to test the veracity of his claim of a brain injury.

Covington also claimed that Jorge Masvidal damaged his Rolex watch in the dust-up. Bradford Cohen also asked the judge to take a closer look. The attorney claims the watch was a fake, not worth anywhere near what Colby is claiming.

Jorge Masvidal is facing two felony charges for his assault on Colby Covington. His attorneys are trying to get out in front of the case. There is sure to be far more evidence presented, but for now, Jorge appears ready to vehemently defend himself.
