Colby Covington refers to himself as the UFC’s “super villain,” and he frequently tries to irritate people with abrasive trash talk. Maybe this time, Colby tried to irritate Jorge Masvidal, which enraged him. Cops were recently called after Jason allegedly attacked Colby and then challenged him to show his face.

A video obtained by TMZ Sports shows Colby Covington just moments after allegedly fighting with Jorge Masvidal outside of a Miami hotspot. As seen in the video, the UFC fighter was surrounded by cops.

The video was taken around 11:30 p.m. ET, about a half-hour after Covington and Masvidal got into a physical altercation outside of Papi Steak in Miami Beach. Colby ate dinner with the Nelk Boys inside the restaurant on Monday night, and reportedly Masvidal did not eat there. According to sources, Masvidal allegedly attacked Colby outside the restaurant after dinner.

In the video, Colby’s voice can be heard describing the alleged attack, saying, “He’s over here swinging, trying to come at me, and I ran …” Later in the video, Colby can be heard asking social media star Bob Menery, “How would [Masvidal] know I’m here?” “I don’t know,” Menery responded in the clip. “You’re all over the internet.”

It should be noted that Menery and the Nelk Boys posted a video of Covington inside the restaurant earlier that night. Masvidal, for his part, posted a video shortly after the alleged altercation in which he challenged Colby to show his face while saying, “If you talk that s***, you’ve got to back it up.”

Jorge and Colby, once best friends turned bitter enemies, recently fought on March 5 and Covington won by unanimous decision. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
