The WWE budget cut saga continues. The company released a number of talents from their NXT contracts Friday, April 29th. News about incoming mass releases found its way to the internet hours before the releases came into effect.

In total, WWE released 10 performers from their contracts. Dexter Lumis, Dakota Kai, Harland, Persia Pirotta, Malcolm Bivens, Raelyn Divine, Mila Malani, Draco Anthony, Sanjana George, and Paige Prinzivalli were part of NXT 2.0.

WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis made the call to release these performers from their NXT contracts and cited budget cuts as the reason behind the company’s move to drop these talents.

It was also reported that NXT officials had no clue about incoming releases and were forced to drop entire storylines, feuds angles without having preparation or plan in place.
