It’s a bad day in WWE today. A bunch of talents were released from their contracts Friday, April 29th. It is unknown if the “global leader in sports and entertainment” will show more performers their way out of the door.

According to Fightful Select, WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis made the decision to release a number of performers from their NXT contracts. Here’s what the outlet reported.

John Laurinaitis made the cuts and cited budget cuts as the reason. The email internally read “Due to budgetary cuts, and with immediate effect as of today, 4/29/2022, we have come to the terms to release the following.”

WWE released Malcolm Bivens, Dakota KaiRaelyn DivineMila Malani, Sanjana GeorgePersia PirottaHarlandDexter Lumis and Paige Prinzivalli from their contracts Friday.
