Photographer Mike Tyson Once Beat Up Says Plane Harasser Got Lucky

For many, Mike Tyson is one of the most legendary boxers in the history of professional boxing. He was recently caught on camera punching the daylights out of a passenger on a plane. A photographer who Mike Tyson beat up in the past also said that the harasser got lucky.

The harasser, Melvin Townsend, was bloodied after Tyson hit him in the head many times. Townsend, a career petty criminal, was said to have harassed Mike Tyson a lot.

While speaking to TMZ, Paparazzo Tony Vera talked about Mike Tyson beating up Melvin Townsend. He stated that the man that harassed Mike got lucky as he didn’t receive a brutal beating.

”He got lucky, he got a couple of scratches man. You don’t mess with the pull. I’m surprised the crew didn’t do anything, where was the crew?”

Tony Vera was hit multiple times by Mike Tyson back in 2009 after getting too close to him near the ticket counter at LAX. No criminal charges were pressed against Tyson but a settlement was reached for an undisclosed amount.
