Cristiano Ronaldo and his wife, Georgina Rodriguez, took to Instagram recently to announce the tragic passing of their newborn son. This death occurred soon after he was welcomed into the world. His wife gave birth to twins, but one of them did not survive.

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 100 goals for Manchester United, making him the fourth Manchester United player in Premier League history to do so. His historic goal came against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, 7,042 days after he made his EPL debut against Portsmouth in a 3-0 triumph.

In his 223rd appearance in the Premier League, Ronaldo scored his 100th goal. Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and Wayne Rooney are United’s other EPL centurions, all of whom played much more Premier League games. Ronaldo scored against Arsenal in the 34th minute, finishing with his left foot after a deep cross from Nemanja Matic.

After goals from Nuno Tavares and Bukayo Saka early in the game, Arsenal led 2-1. Arsenal went on to win 3-1, with Granit Xhaka completing the scoring after Bruno Fernandes missed a penalty. Before he scored, Ronaldo was greeted with applause at the Emirates Stadium.

On the seventh minute, fans from both teams clapped the United No.7 in an effort to show solidarity for him and his family following the untimely death of his young boy. As he pointed to the sky and looked up, Ronaldo’s scoring celebration appeared to be targeted towards his late child. RIP little angel.
