DJ Khaled was in the crowd to take in game one of the Miami Heat’s playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks. Music moguls sitting courtside for games is not unusual. Drake is a fixture at Toronto Raptors games. Khaled took his involvement in the game a step further.

During a break in the game, DJ Khaled took to the court for a brief shootaround. Khaled grabbed a ball, took a dribble, and threw up a pathetic airball from three-point land. As he squared up, a member of the arena security team was already on the way to get him off the court, despite his celebrity status.

Despite the rush by security to get him off the court, Khaled was a good sport. He cooperated and returned to his seat to catch the rest of the game. While the moment was embarrassing, Khaled was just having some fun.

Rick Ross recently talked about playing DJ Khaled one-on-one during a turn on LeBron James’ ‘The Shop.’ Rozay said he would do him dirty. Based on this one example of Khaled’s jumper, he might be right.

The Heat picked up a lopsided victory in the game to take a 1-0 series lead on Atlanta. The final score of 115-91 was paced by Duncan Butler’s 27-point night with an additional 21 from Jimmy Butler. Both had much better days from the floor than DJ Khaled.

Fortunately, Khaled doesn’t have to rely on his jumper to make money. A one-on-one game with Rick Ross would probably draw some eyeballs. Instead, Khaled is likely to stick to just being a fan.
