Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been embroiled in legal wranglings for several years. Johhny is suing his ex wife for a Washington Post op-ed in which she openly discussed her history with domestic abuse. Johnny even hired “Making A Murderer” attorney Kathleen Zellner, who has famously worked to overturn wrongful convictions. Johnny was recently seen meeting with his legal team in a parking garage, indicating that he does not want to lose the case at all.
Depp was spotted meeting with his legal team in a Los Angeles parking garage. Only one month remains until he faces his ex-wife, Amber Heard, in court over a $50 million libel lawsuit. The 58-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star was photographed looking very tense.
According to Radar Online, the actor was dressed in a mustard yellow suit and was chatting with his attorney, Benjamin G. Chew, and others on his legal team. Depp, dressed in a navy blue newsboy hat, ’70s-inspired sunglasses, and dress shoes, appeared ready to face Amber in their upcoming April trial.
While clutching his iPhone, the actor engaged in a conversation with his associates while attempting to maintain a low profile in the underground parking lot. Depp’s legal strategy against Amber must be quite intense. According to reports, he was seen entering his attorney’s office at 10 a.m. on Wednesday and was not seen again until 7 hours later.
While his legal team is based in Los Angeles, the Into the Woods actor will face Amber in a courtroom in Fairfax County, Virginia. Due to the pandemic, the former couple’s trial date has been pushed back several times. When he noticed photographers’ lenses pointed in his direction in the parking garage, Depp appeared slightly concerned, but calm. At one point, he even smiled, as if trying to appear calm under pressure. He has to be used to getting his picture taken at this point.
Depp appears to be very committed to this. Let’s see what happens in court when Johnny and Amber square off. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
