Cardi B will be in court again after a security guard filed a lawsuit against her. The lawsuit cites an assault in response Cardi B is claiming a self defense. The Bronx-born rapper’s legal team is no joke just a month back she won $4 million in a defamation lawsuit.

The WAP rapper is being sued by Emani Ellis, who was working in Beverly Hills as a security guard bac in 2018 when she was allegedly attacked by the rapper. Elli has cited a violent assault.

Ellis claimed in the legal documents that Cardi “violently, unlawfully, intentionally, suddenly and maliciously striking her about the head, face, and body, placing (her) in great for her life and physical well-being, and legally causing her to sustain injuries and damages.”

Elli then specified Cardi B is Afro-Latina and being of that identity she used several racial profanities against security guard, who is African-American. According to Elli, Cardi used racial slur targeting her racial origins. She also mentioned that the rapper spit on her.

As a consequence of Cardi B’s attack, it is claimed that her accuser is unable to work and claimed she now has “permanent disabilities.” Cardi B addressed the incident in now deleted tweet that read the following.

“Why don’t you guys post the part where the doctor’s office said that that’s not what happen? and if I assaulted why she didn’t press charges? Why would I put my hands on some1 twice my size by myself while I’m experiencing sharp pain 4 months pregnant?”

Cardi B has admitted to fighting the woman but only as a form of self-defense. As per the legal documents obtained by The Blast, they state any violence on Cardi’s part was “reasonably necessary” because she had to protect herself from the woman’s “assault.”

Her attorney also hopes a judge will not award Ellis for speculative damages. This means she will not “recover any damages alleged because such damages, if any, are too speculative to be recoverable by law,” addressing Ellis’s claim that she sustained a “shock and injury to her nervous system.”
