Monday Night Football will have a new look going into next year’s NFL season. ESPN announced this afternoon that Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will be making the leap from Fox to call the weekly prime time games next season.

Joe Buck is a legendary sports broadcaster. His voice can be heard on many iconic highlights from around the sporting world. Troy Aikman led the Dallas Cowboys to several Super Bowls in the 1990s. Aikman is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.

NFL fans had plenty to say about the new MNF broadcast team. Some people hated the change. Several said they plan to switch over to the Manningcast full-time on Monday nights. A large contingent noted that the addition of Joe Buck will give Monday Night Football a major upgrade.

“@espn trying everything they can to get everyone to switch over to the manningcast for MNF”

“Even of you don’t like them, you have to admit this is a HUGE upgrade over pretty much every MNF booth in recent memory.”

“First time MNF will be listenable in over a decade”

“Ngl tho these two >>>>> every other MNF announcers”

The opinions are mixed, but there is no doubt many are excited to see something different in the booth. Many believe it is an upgrade from Steve Levy or Joe Tessitore. At least NFL fans know what they’re getting with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.
