Fyre Festival is still remembered by many after 5 years as it was abhorrent for those who attended it. The total disastrous event was so outrageous to many that the organizer of the show, Billy McFarland, ended up being sued in a number of lawsuits.

McFarland still managed to make a killing by managing to get more than $26 million from the sponsors as well as those who were unfortunate enough to attend it. The event was an organizational disaster, as it lacked facilities, ranging from basic to luxurious.

Social media celebrities and influencers showed their fans what the millennial version of Lord of the Flies would look like. However, it ended up being one of the most unfortunately bad shows to ever have been created.

A total of 277 ticketholders tried to get back their money in damages from what was clearly a scam. While their initial belief was that they’d get more than $7,000, they ended up with a mere amount of $280.

One of the victims took to social media in order to show just what she had to show for her 5 years of struggle. Former Real World star Violetta Milerman took to Twitter in order to show what the compensation of incurring trauma first hand was like.
