Machine Gun Kelly is getting ready to show off his hoops skills for the hometown fans. The Cleveland native will play in the upcoming NBA All-Star celebrity game. Kelly spent some time recently working on his jump shot.

MGK hired shooting coach Chris Matthews to work on his game. Matthews captured part of the training session on Instagram. It appears Kelly has already been working on his jumper. The coach gave MGK huge props in the caption of the video.

“Machine Gun Kelly knows if he touches the rim we start the workout over! He’s been going hard in the gym getting ready for All-Star weekend. Look forward to seeing this celebrity game on Friday. Do your thing bro.”

Other big names taking part in the celebrity game are Quavo Jack Harlow and Anuel AA. MGK will be going against some players who are no joke. Machine Gun is confident he can hang.

Machine Gun Kelly drained six three-pointers in a row in the clip. It is one thing to have good form and follow-through. We will have to see how MGK does when he’s got a defender in his face.

The game tips off on February 18 at 7 PM in Cleveland’s Wolstein Center. ESPN will televise the entire thing live. Machine Gun Kelly is hoping to bring home the MVP and prove that hard work pays off.
