Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma destroyed the whole city of Cleveland with one sentence. After Kyle drained a game-winning shot against the Cavaliers, the decimated the hopes of the city in his post game comments. He said Cavs fans gave him the motivation to perform in the high-pressure situation.

Kuzma said hecklers kept bugging him during the game. He said it’s their fault that he made hit a three with ten seconds left to dash Cleveland’s hopes for victory. The hecklers held up a sign during the game that said, “LeBron won Kuzma his ring.” TMZ reported on Kuzma’s savage reaction.

“I was just ready, I was ready for it. Plus, there was some hecklers during the game, talking to me. It was their fault, really. It was their fault… “I said, ‘Without LeBron, Cleveland wouldn’t be sh*t… So, they chose violence and I just kept going. So, thank you guys, I appreciate it.”

After draining the clutch shot, Kuzma approached the fans in their seats. He autographed their sign. Kyle had a smile on his face the whole time. How could he be mad after what just went down?

LeBron James ended Cleveland’s agonizing 52-year championship drought for the Cavs. Kuzma only averaged 8.5 points and 2.8 boards per game during the title run. It’s safe to say LeBron was the major contributor and the fans were right.

On this night, however, Kyle Kuzma got the last word and left the court a hero. Cleveland has a strong young core featuring Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and a red hot Ricky Rubio. The Wizards improved to 8-3 with the 97-94 win, while Cleveland fell to 7-5.
