Teen Mom Fans Cringe At Catelynn Baltierra’s Desperation

Teen Mom fans can be among the most critical in all of reality television. They are constantly slamming the stars of their favorite show over their appearance. Signing on to be a cast member is like agreeing to receive endless hate from people you’ve never met.

Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Baltierra gave fans some of the much-needed positivity during Christmas season last year. Fans on Reddit shared a photo of her daughter Nova on Christmas morning, barely containing her excitement as she opens a box that contains an adorable puppy. It was a perfect opportunity for some kindness in the Teen Mom fan community.

Most recently, one user published Catelynn and Tyler’s video, recorded from television, to kick off a Reddit discussion. Fans were literally cringing at how desperate Catelynn was to get married. One Redditor said: “I’m almost 100% sure that without the societal pressure from being on teen mom Tyler would have actually left catelynn one of the 5 times he tried to”

Another questioned: “It’s really sad. She gave up her baby to keep him and had nobody else. I get why she clung. Shitsack Dawn should have helped her.”

A third person chimed in, saying: “To be fair this was filmed just after Tyler cancelled their wedding on national TV. I think anyone (well anyone who doesn’t realise that that’s a sign you should leave the guy) would be insecure and clingy after that. He should have left her back then but he didn’t because God forbid he lost his image as the only TM guy who didn’t leave his girlfriend.”
