Steve-O and Chris Pontius are two of the wildest members of the Jackass crew. While Johnny Knoxville has always been the ring leader of the chaotic comedy troupe, Steve and Pontius often did some of the dirtiest stunt work for the successful series of TV shows and movies.

It was recently reported that the pair were being sued by a man named Michael Vincens-Segura. In 2018, Pontius and Steve-O approached him to see if they could use his jet ski for a Jackass-style stunt they were filming in Puerto Rico. The idea was to do a jet ski tug-of-war with two of the watercraft attached via a bungee cord.

Video of the incident has now been obtained by TMZ. As the scene unfolds, both jet skis can be seen taking off in opposite directions while tethered together. Vincens-Segura was then struck by the cable when it inevitably snapped. The victim was left with a nasty gash on his head.

Michael is suing over the harm caused by the 2018 incident. Attorney John Phillips has been representing him in the case. Phillips explained his reason for releasing the video.

“We provide this video looking for witnesses and people who know about the creation and execution of this stunt. If you have information, please contact us.”

The suit is asking for $12 million in damages from Steve-O and Chris Pontius. The Jackass stars’ crazy stunt completely altered the course of Vincens-Segura’s life. He’s hoping a judge will agree with him and force the careless daredevils to pay up.
