Joe Burrow is only in his second season in the National Football League. The former LSU star knows how to win. Burrow has brought a completely new attitude to Cincinnati, and the Bengals responded with a shocking AFC Championship victory over Patrick Mahomes and the heavily favored Kansas City Chiefs.

Burrow is now primed to make history. Joe Cool could become the first player in history to win the Heisman Trophy, a college football national championship, and a Super Bowl if the Bengals can defeat the Los Angeles Rams in their home stadium. It would be an unbelievable achievement for any player. Being in just his second season makes it even more remarkable.

After the game, Joe Burrow was overwhelmed. The speed at which he turned the Bengals entire franchise around has been remarkable. Cincinnati won just two games in 2019. They went 4-11-1 last season. Burrow was speechless after the game.

“Our defense was unbelievable in the second half. They had a great plan on the defensive side against us, and we struggled a little bit. … I’m just a little speechless right now. I don’t even know what to say.

Usually when you lose the coin flip to those guys, you’re going home. But our defense really stepped up and made plays in the second half and on offense made plays when we had to. I thought the offensive line played really well all day, and we started running the ball there at the end, that’s exciting. Big win for us.”

On the NFC side, the Los Angeles Rams were led by Matthew Stafford in a win over the San Francisco 49ers. Two unlikely quarterbacks will lead their teams into the Super Bowl. Joe Burrow is hoping to put on another history making performance. The entire city of Cincinnati will be behind him.
