Jay Electronica has made often made his love for Nation of Islam publicly known. The rapper recently got inked in honor of the current leader of Nation of Islam, Minister Louis Farrakhan.

The Roc Nation rapper added a fresh tattoo to his body. The brilliant work of London-based tattoo artist Olivier Tattoo, features the name “Farrakhan” in script font. Jay got the tattoo just above his left eyebrow.

The New Orleans native took to Instagram to share the news with fans. He posted a close-up of his new face tattoo. Jay soundtracked his post with his and Westside Gunn’s Hitler Wears Hermes 8: Side B collaboration “Free Kutter.” He captioned his post, “As my sweet mother would say… ‘Well son, f*ckem.’”

The Black nationalist religious organization was founded by Wallace Fard Muhammad in 1930. Jay’s long awaited album, A Written Testimony features speeches from Farrakhan while songs such as “Universal Soldier” and “Ezekiel’s Wheel” has references to Elijah Muhammad, the revered leader of NOI and Malcom X mentor who served from 1934 until his death in 1975.
