Adele, the English music sensation, is still one of the most brilliant female singers in the industry today. Adele had a fantastic start to the year, but then things changed. Adele’s residency in Las Vegas was just canceled due to COVID taking over half of her crew.

The Hello singer claims she tried everything, but the performance will not go on. COVID has forced her to cancel her planned residency in Vegas.

Adele apologized to her fans on Thursday for canceling at the last minute. She claims that she tried her hardest to ensure that her presentation was ready on time. It was practically impossible due to delivery delays and the loss of half of her team due to COVID-19.

Adele was scheduled to perform her first gig as part of her “Weekends with Adele” series this weekend. She intended to perform 24 shows beginning this month and continuing through April. Fans that flew to Sin City, will have to find something else to do because the Grammy-winning singer will not be performing this weekend.

Adele was visibly upset and contrite over her decision, stating that she intended to reschedule.

“Gonna get [the show] to where it’s supposed to be.”

The dates of this postponed show are not fixed yet. Fans should not be saddened because Adele has promised that she’ll be back soon. For further updates stay tuned to Thirsty.
