Ben Roethlisberger is on the road to a well-deserved retirement. The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback recently announced that this season would likely be his last. Fans all over the Steel City have been fondly remembering all the championship moments from Big Ben’s legendary career.

That includes Olympic gold medalist and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. Angle is a native of Pittsburgh and a life-long Steelers fan. Kurt knows all too well what it’s like to walk away from a sport he loves.

Angle took to Twitter to express his appreciation for Roethlisberger’s storied career. The two are among the city’s greatest sports heroes of all time. Angle thanked the QB for the years, the moments, and the memories.

“Rumors are Big Ben is retiring?? Thank you Ben for all of the incredible years you put in and the moments you created!! #7 #412 #Legend”

Ben Roethlisberger won two Super Bowls during his career with the Steelers. He still has an outside shot at earning another one. Pittsburgh is currently 7-7-1. A division title is not out of the question.

Roethlisberger is hoping for a good showing as he prepares for what will likely be his final home game. The Steelers welcome the hated Cleveland Browns to Heinz Field tonight on Monday Night Football. Pittsburgh fans will be out in force to give Ben one final huge sendoff. Kurt Angle will be watching.
