Canelo Alvarez is considered one of the greatest professional boxers of all time and it is hard to argue why. Alvarez faced off against Caleb Plant for the IBF champion last month. It seems Jake Paul got trolled for calling out Canelo Alvarez.

The Pound for pound king had an all-out war with Caleb Plant and brutalized him. Caleb tried his best but simply couldn’t match up to Alvarez’s offence. In the end, Alvarez won in the 11th round. Thus, Alvarez became boxing’s only undisputed unified super middleweight champion.

Due to this, Jake Paul hilariously asked if he should sign Alvarez to his Most Valuable Promotions. The Problem Child also made it clear he wants to throw down with Canelo Alvarez in the future.

After knocking out Tyron Woodley in their rematch on December 18th, Jake Paul proceeded to call out Canelo Alvarez again. While speaking to Joe, Stephen A. Smith addressed Jake Paul calling out Canelo Alvarez and said that Paul insulted Alvarez by calling him out.

“That’s a joke. It’s an insult. Here’s the deal – Canelo’s the best in the world. He’ll knock Jake Paul out in one round. He’ll take him out. But more importantly, Jake Paul hasn’t earned the right to be in the ring with somebody as serious, and as lethal, and as accomplished as Canelo.”

Jake Paul also recently stated that he can do some real damage to Canelo Alvarez. We will have to wait and see if that fight does happen in the future, as fans would love to see it.
