Freddie Gibbs and Jim Jones had a spat and it made headlines. Now Gibbs is speaking out about his fighting endeavors, but he also threw out a new challenge.

Gibbs recently appeared on Prime 112 in Miami where he said that he is training for a fight. He wants a celebrity boxing match against DJ Akademiks, and he doesn’t even want to pocket any money out of the deal.

After saying that all of his earnings will go to charity, Gibbs threw down a stipulation for the fight. He wants DJ Ak to delete his social media accounts if he can beat him in the ring.

DJ Akademiks is wildly popular on social media and he is no stranger to controversy. Those videos he posts go viral, but some people hold a bit of a grudge about the fact that he puts them out there. It seems that Freddie Gibbs has his own solution to this issue.

In case you’re wondering, DJ Akademiks saw this challenge. He responded by saying, “N****a was training for the WRONG fight.” It seems that fans shouldn’t wait up for this one to go down.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
