Eminem Surpasses Legendary Follower Benchmark On Spotify

Eminem is one the best selling artists in the music industry. On his sheer verbal skills, Em is one of the greatest MCs of his generation: rapid, fluid and dexterous. He remains the second most-followed rapper on Spotify.

In June 2021,the 49-year old rapper reached the 45 million follower milestone and it took just half a year to raise that number to 50 million. He is one of the highest gainers in followers and certainly the highest in hip-hop category.

Just this week, Eminem added over 240K new users to his following. XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD are placed two and three places below him in the list. In addition of Drake who racked up over 210K new users, Eminem, XXXTentacion and Juice WRLD are the only top hip-hop artists in the Top 20 high gainers this week.

Overall, Marshall’s position on the most followed Spotify artists remains reliably consistent. The rapper who started his illustrious career way before the streaming era has not lost any buzz around him and sits at a comfortable #6 spot on Spotify’s most followed list.
